Dinner From The Garden

The best part of gardening is, of course, eating the food.  All the hard work I did this spring to enlarge my garden has paid off.

Tonight we had, jalapeno poppers (as an appetizer), Rosemary Chicken (no chicks from here were harmed in the making of this), potatoes, and butternut squash.

Yum!

For the jalapeno poppers remove seeds and stuff with cream cheese.  I recommend you wear gloves for the cleaning process.

          

The rosemary Chicken was cooked on a bed of rosemary, drizzled with olive oil, and seasoned with salt and pepper.

     

The potatoes and onions were sliced, drizzled with olive oil, and seasoned with seasoning salt.  I like to layer the potatoes and onions as I make it.

     

For the butternut squash,  just cut it in half and put some butter on it.

Everything was cooked on the grill, as it is way to hot to turn the oven on.
