Garden to Table Challenge

Thanks to Wendy from Greenish Thumb for having this Garden to Table Challenge.  I have been trying to figure out what in the world I would make for my Garden to Table Challenge, my new garden is not producing yet, so what to make?  I still have a few pepper plants from earlier in the season and even with neglect they have hung on and oddly enough are doing very well.   These peppers are so hot I have been at a complete loss as to what to do with them.

Then, the other day I saw a recipe for Pepper Poppers on BG Garden’s blog and I knew I had hit the jackpot, thank you Bren.

Here is the recipe.

Yum, Charlotte that recipe does sound good. I like Poppers anyway so it looks delicious. My daughter made one with green peppers for those who don’t like them too hot and it was wonderful too for a nice change.
Thanks for stopping by, I love the company!

This looks delicious! I tried to deep fry some that turned out horribly – everything basically spilled out. I should try the broiler next time! I split mine in half like I’ve had in restaurants, but cutting the tops and stuffing them makes sense. I wonder if putting the filling in a ziploc bag, snipping the end and piping it in would make the stuffing part easier?

Oooh – I’ve tried stuffed peppers and I burned my hands something fierce – yours turned out so beautiful though – well done!
